Ceramic Studios and Classes

Clay Associates

A wonderful studio of nine professional potters located in the Normal

Heights neighborhood. Wheelthrowing and handbuilding classes are

offered year-round, and sales are usually held in June and December.

 

San Diego Potters' Guild

Located in the Spanish Village section of Balboa Park, the Guild holds

classes year-round. Go see their amazing semi-annual sales (June/

November) with over 40 potters displaying their art.


UCSD Crafts Center

Access to the ceramics studio and classes on campus (beginner to

advanced).


ECC classes (Community College)

Introductory Ceramics classes are taught by Pamela Kozminska at

the ECC complex on Ocean View Blvd in San Diego. No fee for

enrolling! It's a great way to get started in Ceramics and get your

hands dirty, with a huge gas kiln and a big selection of high fire glazes.

Intermediate and advanced students are also welcome.
