Euclidian Series
The Euclidian Series is a geometric exploration on the plant pot form. Born from a circle, the form is altered to reemerge multisided, yet contained within the original circle. It reflects the limitless possibilities one can always find in a constrained world. I find the pots a perfect companion to the elegant complexity of orchids.
Dry Earth
Dry Earth = stoneware work expressing the ruggedness of elemental earth.
It is a marriage of clay bodies mixed wet and dry, to recreate the raw nature of erosion. Their antagonistic natures lead to a deep texture that is not as rough as it looks. The result is elemental and organic. I like to pair the pots with orchids. The elegance and softness of the plant balance out the roughness of the pot, in a yin/yang symbiosis.
